Last Wilson Shift…

… and it’s only the beginning. I knew graduation was inevitable but I have been delaying my thoughts for the emotions that come with finishing my time here at MSU. Working in the Wilson Hall cafeteria was my first job ever. I have grown so close with the employees in South Complex, they are my second home. Saying good-bye is so hard. Also, just elected the new FNA E-board, so my reign as Vice President is over. Next week is my last week of classes, then finals week, and then MAY 5TH, 7:30 pm at Breslin, my time to shine. How do I possibly begin to say good-bye to the bajillion people I have met and have a proper ending to my four years here? All I know is that there will be many tears shed by me. SPARTAN FOR LIFE.

My ‘Don Quixote’ professor has told us that he hates Man of La Mancha because he thinks it’s a terrible adaptation of Cervantes’ intentions with the book, and while I don’t know enough about the book or the musical yet to draw my own conclusions, I’m still in love with this song.

Melissa and I booked our flight to Florida this week! So excited to see Nona, Papa, and Aunt Joanne and chillax for 10 days. BLISS. The countdown is on-34 days! Also, I FINALLY got paid for my Stadium job $ooo today ha$ been a good day :) AND I’m almost done with my applications! 

Last Semester at State

A tad late on this post…. BUT HOLY CRAP THIS IS MY LAST SEMESTER AT MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY! I can’t believe it. Only taking 12 credits, and working a ton more but trying to spend much more time with friends compared to last semester. It hasn’t even really hit me yet. I think it will once I click ‘submit’ on all my grad applications and DICAS. Once that’s out of the way my fate awaits me till April 1st at 7pm. Crazy to think where I’ll end up and how different my life will be come August. Who knows! All I know is that I need to make the most of my time here in East Lansing because these have been the greatest years of my life, and I will miss it so incredibly much. SO MUCH. Words can’t describe.

Also, Courtney, Brianne and I missed pie day today. PIE DAY!
